Its patient education library contains over 15,000 brochures, articles, videos and other types of materials. 3M associated (mapped) each informational material with the relevant standard terminology codes from SNOMED CT, LOINC, RxNorm, ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS, so these codes in a patient record can “trigger” the offering of the appropriate informational material, using the mappings in the 3M HDD implemented in the customer system.
