Elva Knight

Elva Knight, MT, ASCP has been a member of the 3M HDD team since 1998. She is a certified medical technologist with the American Society of Clinical Pathology, and medical microbiology has continued to be her primary area of focus throughout her career in various hospital, reference lab, and information system settings. Elva assists customers with their laboratory and microorganism data standardization which includes mapping to LOINC and SNOMED CT, and participates in other terminology development and implementation projects. Elva’s interests are in developing and keeping the microorganism and other clinical knowledge domains up to date in the HDD.
